What are the thread and bolt sizes used on the PCS and PF bus bars to mount the lugs?
Answer:
PCS and PF Softstarter hardware varies by unit size and is not available as renewal parts. Replacement parts can be obtained from your local hardware store. Follow these guidelines for specifications on each sized unit.
The PCS 3A thru 85A devices have box lugs, do not have threaded holes in the bus bars, and do not use bolts.
The PCS & PF 108, 135, 201 and 251A devices have M10 x 1.5 threaded holes in the busbars and are supplied with M10 x 1.5 x 20mm H.H.C.S. (Hex Head Cap Screws).
The PCS & PF 317, 361 and 480A devices have M12 x 1.75 threaded holes in the busbars and are supplied with M12 x 1.75 x 25mm H.H.C.S. (Hex Head Cap Screws).
The PF 625, 780, 970 and 1250A devices have thru holes (not threaded) in the busbars and are shipped with (12) M12 x 1.75 x 45mm H.H.C.S. (Hex Head Cap Screws), (12) M12 x 1.75 nuts, (12) Belleville washers and (24) flat washers.

Mounting hardware for all devices is shipped in a small box with the device. These bolts, nuts and washers are not setup as a renewable or replacement part. If these parts are lost or missing, they will typically have to be purchased from a 3rd party source.
